So guess what happened last night?
Seriously. I think I’m cursed. I was up in Ohio, and the power went out for days so I couldn’t update the comic with any pictures or filler. Then I come back to Florida, ready to get to work on the chapter, and again, the power goes out. This time, it waited until there was barely enough sunlight to work with. Frustrated, I drew this up and waited for the power to come back on. By the time it did, I just was too peeved to work anymore (and it was late).
Chapter pages will start Friday, or so help me I will…like…go outside and yell at the storm clouds or something…

You may think yelling at the storm as futile, but it is not. I was once at a two week camping event where it stormed for days in a row 24 hrs a day. One afternoon I was fed up with it. I walked out of my tent, looked up into the storm and in a voice intended to be heard across an active naval engine room, I yelled THAT … IS … ENOUGH! In five minutes there was a “dome” of cloudless blue sky over the campground. All around the edges of the dome there were black clouds flashing lightning. I have no proof what I said caused the clear sky, but … I sure felt good after yelling like that.

Home Depot is selling some real bright LED lights that have both hanging hooks and magnetic backs. The batteries will last about a day or so, and the units are reasonably priced. Pick up a couple for sketching when the light is gone and that might help.
