I was originally going to show Maqqy screaming her head off and beating Xion, but that was too predictable. Plus, I have a feeling I’ll have plenty of opportunities to draw that particular scene sometime soon. Instead, I decided to show what’s happening downstairs in the bakery! Poor Brice, having to work on the weekends, and hearing that.
Also, I don’t get to draw Brice enough. I like him~
i still would have loved to see how Xion tries to get out of the beating, i’m puzzled if he got into bed with Maqqy on purpose or if he did it by accident and if so, how?
I just starting reading this comic today, gotta say I really enjoy it, can’t wait for the next update.
My guess (in the whole good-nature spirit and whatnot) is that he did that so she wouldn’t continually beat the side of the dresser to turn off the clock. If she did, she would either smash the clock or (worst-case) make the side of the house and the residential block across the street disappear.
Mah Guess, anyways.
